Product Description Item #: 85082E. The InFocus Work Big IN10 ultra-mobile projector is the technological equivalent of a pint-sized solar burst you can take anywhere. Built around innovative, compact optics and advanced DLP imaging technology the 1800-lumen IN10 will ensure your brightest idea really sees the light of day. No matter how large your presentation space, the IN10 will project a clean, vivid image while supporting both front and rear projection. Integrated XGA native resolution will flawlessly display the most media-rich presentations, including automatic adjustment for 16:9 video and true HD sources. The IN10 is very lightweight and easily fits in your hand - half the weight and size of most other "mobile" projectors! Enabling you to travel light while maintaining full presentation functionality is what the IN10 is built for, so InFocus integrated key hardware features designed for ease of use. Such features include the onboard 1.3:1 zoom lens - an ideal hybrid for utilizing close quarters such as a trade-show booth, or taking presentations to a conference room. Also, the ultra-precise lens-mounted zoom and focus control enables you to adjust your image anywhere at anytime without fragile internal motors to fret over. The IN10 uses a standard 4000-hour lamp, this amount of life will give you years of maintenance-free projection with nothing to clean or replace. This means projector air filters are a thing of the past and you'll never be embarrassed by a filter warning on-screen during your most important presentation. To make life easier on the road, InFocus has incorporated all the connectivity you'll ever need in the new IN10. For high-resolution video and data sources, the integrated M1-DA port offers expansion to component, HDMI and VGA-computer connections. Also, the onboard composite and s-video inputs enable quick connectivity in parallel with the audio input and internal speaker to provide a full multimedia experience for the audience. | Customer Reviews: Not for the normal work environment July 29, 2010 jMack At my new office we decided to go with two of these projectors.
One is a permanent fixture in a conference room, the other is used where we need it.
the portability is great, the remote is nice, and the USB / remote connection works quite quickly using Win7 or XP.
This is where the good traits end and the bad begins. First of all, you need a DARK room to see anything with this projector. Even with a decently-dark room, I still have viewing issues; especially COLOR. Color differences are very hard at times, especially with graphs with more than 3 lines. Purple compared to Blue? forget it! Also, the stand does not allow for much resolution so I find myself throwing 5-10 sheets of paper in the front to get the height 'just right'. It also takes a good 2-5 minutes to warm-up, so be sure you have some extra time before giving your presentation. Also, you cannot flip the display, should you want to mount it upside down on a ceiling mount! If there is a way to do this, I gave up long ago. Lastly, one of my two devices is going bad after 2 years of infrequent use. the top 1/2 of the screen will never come into focus no matter what I do. This gets a bit annoying with any text on the screen.
I haven't used a lot of projectors in my day, but anything else I've used otherwise seems to be better in one or more ways. That said, if you want something that is portable and light-weight providing very basic projecting, this is a decent buy. Otherwise, if portability isn't as important definitely look elsewhere.
verry good projector September 7, 2008 Antonio P. B. Neto (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
It's is a must for everyone traveling with kids or working. It's a HD projector with descent color a lot of brightness. Very light. The only problem is the need of connectors (the main input is an awful m1 port) to use all of its features
